"The Rules"
My eating has been horrid lately, too little of the good stuff, too much of the bad stuff. Time to go back to basics.
The rules really do work when you stick with them. And I modified my "rules": eat until I feel comfortably full..... I was eating too little at meals for a while and never getting full and wanting to snack 10 minutes later.
The rules are great... they never get old! Now it's time that I follow them again.

Hi, Michelle. I've never been a great "rules follower" but I agree, you have to do some conforming in order to make this work long-term. I've been eating stuff that I know isn't the best for me, so I need to do some modifying as well. My lowest weight post-surgery was 160, and now I find that I've crept back up to almost 180. I'm OK with the 180, as I think I actually looked too thin (especially in the face) at the lower weight. That being said, though, it's time to face up to this and not allow any more "bounce-back" weight gain, if indeed that's what it was. I have also not been an exerciser, so I need to pull that trick out of the hat as well, and get busy!
