Getting it honest..
haha my hubby would die of starvation if I did that. Poor guy barely knows how to use the can opener
Well I know the hardest thing to do is change a pattern, but if you can force yourself to go against the grain for about a week, it usually gets a LOT easier. Are you sure you get enough fluids each day?
Yeah, I know how these men can be.
I have this battle going on (hence the comment I'm not listening to myself ... even when I yell!) ... and for whatever reason, just cannot seem to break this pattern (because after all, I do "know better").
I've been thinking more about the liquids ... I hadn't given it much thought previously because liquids are pretty much all I've been doing (soup/coffee/lattes, some chili or melted cheese here and there) and I figured I was doing OK in that respect. But now, you got me thinking. I may be getting about 50-60 oz of fluids in (including the coffees ... I've been "trying" to do at least half decaf ... doesn't always work though). I am psyched because I did find out the Starbuck's venti lattes have 20 grams of protein, so that helps (and that's mostly milk, not coffee).
Every time I try solids I still get pains, so I've just been staying away, not that that's a problem because food just SO turns me off.
Thanks for sticking with me on this ... although this whole scenario kind of freaks me out (it just seems quite surreal), I really don't want to bother anyone with this (I know everyone's got their own issues) ... but I'm finding I really am not doing a good job trying to get through this without social support. SO ... thoughts, ideas, suggestions, kicks in the tush, a labotomy ... all are welcome at this point.
Although I'm not proud of it, the link to my fitday profile is at the bottom of my profile page (kind of hidden on purpose).

Good Morning. The article on water was quite timely my friend as it seems I've started slipping again. Ergh. it's so much more difficult in the colder months.
I've just eaten 1/2 meatloaf sandwich on wholegrain bread w/mayo.
For work I've packed ground sirloin pinwheels ("pinwheeled" with parmesan, bread crumbs and seasonings,) mashed taters / cauli with garlic and cheddar, and my veggie choices of the day are green beans and mushrooms. There's enough to split into 3 feedings and when I come home tonight I will most likely scramble an egg.
And water
