I've been doing very well lately and I don't exactly know what the difference is, but I'm glad for it. Friday's count was: Calories 1,337 Carbs 85 Protein 96 I can live with that! I also have been using Fitday to track everything right from the beginning and have my vitamins and supplements in as a custom food. I take extra magnesium with vitamin D because even with the extra boost, I still have horrible leg and foot cramps. I don't think I'm deficient in anything. Tooter, where did you get the folate information? Is there a USDA recommendation for it or something I'm missing somewhere?? The best news on my eating is that I'm right where I should be on the scale. It's not an accurate measure, I realize, but it's a good guideline. Jan

The U.S. RDA for folate is 400 micrograms per day. In fitday it's listed in the reports under Am I meeting my daily nutrient needs...yesterday I was only at 52% of the RDA on it. Sometimes I supplement it - I may go back to doing that. Have to discuss it with my nut.... How's your potassium and/or vitamin E and A intake and/or levels?

I guess I never really saw that before. I took a look at the last 7 days and I'm at 92% of the RDA for carbs, and only 61% for fiber. I'm at 101% for phosphorus and 336% for folate. I seem to be at nearly 300% for most of the nutrients except for fiber and carbs. Strange! But interesting!

Considering it was granddaughter's 2nd birthday celebration, I did great! B - 2 hard-boiled eggs (ran out of egg muffins), 2 slices of nuked bacon S - Cottage cheese w/splenda & cinnamon L - Salad with grilled chicken (at a restaurant); passed up the bread basket, even though they had olive oil to dip it in S - Large golden delicious apple Later snack - because dinner was going to be late: handful of nuts/seeds and a cup of hot tea D - very small portion of fabulous homemade lasagna; large portion of salad (no bread or dessert) With all that, I am down another pound! Woohoo!!!! Betsy
