Gloom, Despair, and Agony On ME!

My name is Michele, and I am an idiot. Last Wednesday, I had emergency gallbladder surgery, and for good measure had the dead end limb of my rNy cut down (it was too long). Today, I had the brainy idea of eating.... potato chips. So now that I have thrown up, rolled around in my bed in the fetal position moaning and crying in pain, here I am. Ugh. Ya know, I tested in the upper 99.9 percentile for intelligence. If they could just see me now! Michele

(((Michele))) ... poor baby ... you know, there is a very fine line between intelligence and insanity (I think I may have tiptoed over that line more than a few times.) Hang in there. Karyn

That's why I usually buy the chips I don't like a whole lot (cheetos and fritos and doritos) then I'm not overly tempted Love ya!

I had my gallbladder out at the time of the RNY and let me tell you - greasy food will do it to you every time from now on......and chips are greasy. Leave 'em on a paper towel over night and you'll see just *how* greasy. Feel better!

Intelligence and common sense seem to have no correlation. You didn't exhibit good common sense. No one is perfect. We either learn from our mistakes or are doomed to repeat them over and over again and suffer the consequences. In our case, the consequences have some pretty unappealing physical ramifications. I belong to MENSA. But I repeat many WLS mistakes over and over again. I know better; I just don't "act" better at every opportunity. Hope you're feeling better very quickly. Anewme.
