Keeping it honest - Tue/Wed
Actually, I'm up at about 4:30 or 5am ... I take my vits/meds ... and I can't eat for an hour after I take my Synthroid, so I either start working (I work out of my home) or get on the treadmill. I do force myself to stop for lunch at 11:30 and make my soup. It seems everytime I try solid foods they cause me problems (like last night). The thought of food just does not appeal to me at all.
I don't seem to have a problem with soup (or coffee), so maybe I can start by trying to get in more soup? My tummy just gurgled on that, I don't think it wants anything.
Today's the third day in a row I've been on my treadmill, I'm hoping it will stimulate my appetite, so we'll see.
I don't feel you're picking on me. I don't have answers, I can't tell you the effort it took for me to post (in hopes of trying to find answers, either by seeing it myself in black and white, or through input like yours), so thanks, your thoughts are always very welcome and appreciated.

Have you tried things like canned deviled ham, canned corned beef - which are pretty much pureed in consistency...so thinking they might be good 'primers' for your pouch. Just a thought.
Do you do protein shakes at all? I'm just really concerned with how little protein you seem to get in. (((HUGS)))
Hi again. I actually haven't tried that. I keep telling myself to get some cottage cheese, some yogurt (although the warm fluids feel the best) ... but everytime I look in the fridge, its like my stomach turns and I just close the door and walk away. I've been meaning to make chili, I'm thinking that might be do-able. I did try putting protein powder into my coffee ... tasted like crap, but I could try that again. I do have several cans of protein drinks, which I used to mix with Carb Countdown milk, but I haven't been able to get myself to do that either (see my Carb Countdown story a couple paragraphs down).
Basically, things changed for me after a hospital visit (actually 2 five-day stays) in July ... most is in my profile, but I kind of blame the pain meds (plus, this was not a WLS-friendly hospital) for my loss of appetite (kind of like everything shut down, and it all just hasn't ramped back up yet), and it just hasn't returned. When I do eat, I feel bloated and nauseated, or in the case of last night, some pretty bad pain.
I was just in the grocery store ... everything I looked at turned my stomach ... I picked up a package of cheese that was in cubes (twice), and put it down (twice) ... I looked at rotisserie chickens, hesitated, then kept walking. I did, however buy 2 cartons of Carb Countdown milk (one choc, one reg ... it was on sale) ... don't ask me why, I have 5 unopened, expired containers of it in my refrigerators already.
I may have mentioned this, but I'm hoping to maybe stimulate my appetite by going on the treadmill (its only been three days, so I'll keep trying). I don't know if I'm just tired of feeling nauseated and bloated, so I just don't want food, or what.
I'm still trying though, maybe my brain will listen to your ideas (if not mine), if nothing else, I will try to get more soup in tonight.
As always, thanks ... I'll get there.
(((hugs))) right back atcha
hmm well I don't really 'recommend' anything lol. I know that a lot of bottles, the 'servings' listed on the bottle is 2 or more pills a day. What's your bottle say? Is one pill a serving? I am not sure 'which' one of the mega's you're taking. I looked at GNC.com and all the mega's I saw are 2 to 4 tablets/capsules a day. So I'd say at the least to take what the bottle states....
