I felt like I was grazing all day, but now that I review it wasn't that bad. altho, since I am on pain meds and antibiotics and feeling fuzzy, I may not be remembering everything as well as I should. I didn't really track anything during the day other than what time to take the antibiotics and get something in me at the same time so I was not nauseous. 1 piece raisin toast oatmeal sf jello south beach beef and broccoli 2 cheese slices and crackers 1/2 chicken breast with broccoli and cheese stuffing (something DH bought that was premade and microwavable.) one way bar, sf ice cream w/ 0 cal chocolate syrup

Dang I'm just tickled you're UP and eating! I was so tired and queasy I almost starved myself the first few days postop. Was hungry, but nothing appealed!

Well this day was so bad that I did not dare to use fitday for fear of burning it up. I made cookies and ate cookies(about6) I had dreamfield pasta and cheese, cheese sticks, ezekiel bread(2), chex mix, 2 triscuits, deli han and swiss,sf jello(had to be careful with the sugar after the cookies) a can of diet ginger ale,2 coffee with caffine(that gave me a jolt). I know there is more but I am ashamed to put it down. Now I have heart burn. I wonder why LOL. I really need to work at this tomorrow. Sure do like that new picture. Hugs, Betty

hi Dx, would you do me a huge favor and post the recipe to that bacon-wrapped aspargus? I THINK it was you a long time ago that posted about it. I've got a serious craving for some reason. Nope!!!!! Not pg. Thanks

Delores, Not me with the Bacon-Wrapped asparagus. I do have an equally "naughty" asparagus recipe- Coat Asparagus spears with thin coat or Mayo. (could be low-fat) (with basting brush or just hands) Then roll in parmesan cheese as if "breading." Place on non-stick cookie sheet or parchment covered cookie pan. Put in oven on convection or bake at 350 until golden brown. Awsome!! I've also had with a touch of Dijon Mustard in the mayo. Someone else was wrapping them in bacon. Sounds like something I'd like. I will use crisp bacon as crumbles in small doses now and then But I do avoid that Bacon Fat. Best Wishes- Dx

Protein shake early 1/2 cup oatmeal tried it with an egg in it...not crazy about that but I managed to eat at least 1/2 of it. Okay...bad at 11:30 because I was busy at the office. MUNCHOS! A low fat kind of chip that is very salty and I love them. one 99 cent bag. 1:30 cottage cheese with peach fruit. Oh my gosh...I had more regular chips at 2:30. About 5. Tried to eat dinner out with a friend but the food was all fried so I had two teaspoons of fish tried to get the breading off. a spoonful of green beans, and a few pinto beans. I am going to make a cup of peppermint tea now and try to calm this tummy down! This is great because it does keep me honest! Came home at 7:00 and ate some peanuts (handful) and a biscuit which I know I get sick on and did! Two 16 oz of Propel today. Lousy food day but will try the oatmeal and egg tomorrow morning. I still have a hard time eating food. I think I mostly live on cottage cheese, carb countdown yogurt and protein shakes. I can do cheese and crackers, 4 at the most. Meat and I have not gotten along since surgery. I had smoked salmon on Sunday and that was lovely. I will finish that tomorrow. Must, must get rid of the Munchos! I still crave salt.

I hear you - I eat tons of cheese. It's a quick standby when nothing else sounds good. Eggs and oatmeal? Ugh. Not this gal - good luck! LOL I LOVE Munchos! They are evil!
