Keeping it honest - Monday
Here we go again...a new week and I did better (so far lol).
4 ounces Moz Cheese
2 slices whole wheat toast with PB
2 cups (1 and 1/2 once I chopped it up lol) of corned beef and cabbage - dayum that was gooooood!
So I'm already up about 1000 calories for the day! Still have 3 feedings to go, so should make my quota just dandy!

3 servings of the bean soup I told you about.
3 saltines
sugar free jello
1/4 cup no sugar added applesauce
1 sugar free fudgesicle
couple bites of banana & pineapple
protein shake
1 cup of hot decaf tea, and about 64 oz of crystal light
I'm hungry again, so I might have something else soon.

Hi Michele, I am always so impressed with your eating. You do very well and so far out that kind of will power is great. Can I ask you for some of your secrets? Do you get hungry late at night? If so, how do you curve that hunger? This is the one thing I have been struggling with. Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom.

I was afraid this might happen.
Please Mitzi don't be impressed with my eating. It's very, very, bad. It's not willpower, I'm forcing myself to eat right now. And I just had emergency surgery last Wednesday, she removed my gallbladder and did a small correction to my gastric bypass as well. I've been throwing up a lot ever since I had the RNY back in 7/2004. I just thought I was being bad and eating the wrong things, so I cut back, and back, and back. My meals have never gotten larger than 1/2 cup at a time.
When she was looking around after doing the gallbladder removal. She tried to scope me. Her camera kept going into the dead end of my rny (right after the pouch) instead of going through. She found that the little limb thingy was too long, and may have been trapping food, causing me to throw up. So she cut it down to size.
Right now I'm on pureed foods, so thats the reason I'm eating like I am. Plus, I'm struggling with horrible fears of failing and gaining weight, even though I barely have any body fat left.
So please, don't be impressed with me at all.

Let's see if I can remember it all:
Breakfast: breakfast burrito - 1 egg, small amount of shredded cheese, some sauteed peppers and onions and about 1.5 oz of ham in a low carb tortilla.
mid morning: egg with 1/2 slice swiss cheese, about 10 pretzel sticks
lunch: salad with 1.5 oz ham, 1/2 slice swiss cheese, 4 kalamato olives, with various greens and a few carrot sticks, topped with 1 tsp. of greek dressing (25 cal) and a few splashes of red wine vinegar for a little zing.
afternoon: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and I did sneak my hand into the candy I have at my office and eat one chocolate covered pecan, but at least the pecan had a little protein???
dinner: 3 oz turkey breast (I baked a turkey breast yesterday), green beans with garlic, roasted carrots and a few bites of spaghetti left over from Sat. night. Now I had to quit eating and threw some of it away because it hurt. I guess it was the turkey being in the microwave for a few seconds, don't know. Chicken does me that way too when I try to nuke it.
snack: 2 sugar free popsicles and some carb option chicken noodle soup. 25 cal and more like bullion than soup.
Oh, yeah, I did take a couple of bites of a lemon meringue tart I made last night too. I hate having sweets in the house, I just have to pick at it even though I try not to. My husband better eat it quick!
Totals around 1300 cal, I guess. Hard to know with the nibbles of the pie. All in all I feel pretty good, but would feel better if I would have left the pie alone. Oh well, tomorrow's another day! Don't have any wine in the house either, so am leaving that alone this week as well (or at least that's my plan!)
