Saturday ended badly. I tried to eat some more new england clam chowder, even though it made me feel icky earlier in the day. Well, this time it didn't stay down. BLEH Sunday is a new day! Here we go! 1. a small bite of banana with a tiny smear of peanut butter on it. BAD BAD BAD! The pain started immediately, and I was in tears. I'm pretty sure the pain is what made me start heaving. 2. MUCH LATER - 1/2 cup sugar free apple sauce with splenda and cinnamon 3. jello 4. 3 saltines 5. sugar free fudgesicle 6. 1/2 cup of good old fashioned campbells condensed split pea soup I am not done for the day, this is not nearly enough food. So I am going to keep eating when I get hungry. I've also not had barely anything to drink, just one cup of hot tea so far. So as soon as this soup has been in me for a 1/2 hour I'm going to start pushing liquids. SEE, I'm trying! (my husband says sometimes I'm VERY trying!) Michele

The soup was wonderful. I had forgotten how good it is! I like it MUCH better than the more expensive "chunky" version too. Today I tried the condensed Bean with Bacon, and it's good too, and its staying down just fine. By the way, each can gives me three feedings. Michele Per Serving: Split Pea with Ham & Bacon = 150 cals - 3 g fat - Protein 8.3g Bean with Bacon = 141 cals - 3.3g fat - Protein 6.6g

Hi Tooter I tried the hot chocolate again this morning. It is sooooo good. I used 10 oz water and added 1 splenda and its great. My hubby said it was the best he ever had. It taste like the choc. my Mon would make when I was a kid. She used the squares of baking choc, sugar, milk and vanilla. It was good when we would come in fron a day of skating and sliding. Thanks for being here. Hugs and have a good day, Betty
