Ok, being lazy - here's the weekend edition...how R U doing? I'm not doing too badly...a bit more 'bread' than I would normally eat. Bad thing about weekends....they just MESS with my diet big time. Not MY fault - blame it on the weekend Today - 4 moz cheese sticks roast beef sammich on whole grain bread - about 3 ounces meat Peanut butter and mayo on whole grain bread will probably have some cottage cheese; yogurt and something else to finish my day off. I'll post to this same thread tomorrow on what I eat tomorrow rather than starting a new weekend thread Hope everyone is having a SKINNY weekend lol.

Ok, I know I am a peanut butter nut. I bought four, yes four, jars of peanut butter today at Costco. Had to try the new organic creamy kind in addition to my regular but peanut butter and mayo. That is a new one for me. I notice you like cottage cheese. Have you ever tried it with SF rasberry jello SF powder, pineapple and cool whip mixed together? yummy!!!

Hi Toots, ok I did another variation of your snicker doodle ice cream cake today. Instead of the vanilla ice cream with SF choc pudding powder I bought Dryers extra churnned no sugar added triple chocolate ice cream. Since it is already chocolate no need to add the powder. Wooo hooo it is gooooooooood!

Sherry, Do you plan your meals a day ahead? How do you know you will eat or feel like eating this stuff then? I would like to understand how to do this and get into the mind set of planning meals...I just don't. Sometimes its because I don't know where I will be....I am a road trip kind of person. By taste buds change every hour...I might say turkey in my planner and I end up in a place that has roast beef....Any help you can throw my way? Debbie

Hi Debbie! Well...it helps that I never go anywhere, other than on my walks. For me, if I do not plan ahead, my eating habits go to Hell in a handbasket. I've done this from the very beginning; so, it gets MUCH easier once it has become a habit. Of course, you can't always plan meals ahead of time; but, I do it as much as possible. I rarely eat what the rest of the family is having because it just doesn't 'appeal' to me at the time...even if it does fall within my diet protocol. Today is a day that I will have my breakfast and lunch *my way* and their's their way (that is, if my son doesn't take my shrimp away from me and eat it himself, like he did yesterday ) and dinner be a 'family thing'. With not being pregnant now (grazing to take in more calories) and getting up for late-night feedings, the snack monster is rearing its ugly head in my household...I HAVE to get that under control soon. You've experienced WONDERFUL success, Debbie! I only WISH that I was more capable of making better food choices without all the planning...I wish that I could help more; but, I am a black & white kind of person...hard to see those shades of gray sometimes. Have a great (what's left of your) weekend! ~~Sherry

Yes the journey has been a good one but I am a bit of a perfectionist....I like to tweak constantly. Gets me into trouble. You are right about making it a habit....I just have to find a way to make planning meals a habit. Thanks and you have a great weekend and enjoy them shrimps! Debbie

Sunday went pretty well...I just added an apple to the menu. Awww...it's hard to eat 'right' when you don't feel well.
