Hi Michelle, congratulations on being so close to goal. I have a feeling when you get your tummy tuck it will take you to goal. People report loosing pounds of skin when doing plastics. I hope you get approved for the loan. Take care, hugs.

Close?! I'm there, are my numbers in the wrong order? 324 start weight, 155 goal weight, 150 current weight. I'm 5 below goal, so my lower body lift will just be SF icing on the cake LOL Michelle

Congratulations Michelle, wow to be five pounds below goal. How exciting. I would love that. The lowest I have been is 3 pounds below goal but now I am at goal. Which is good for me. I am just so happy to be at goal. So you will probably dip into the 140's after plastics. I haven't seen the 140's since grade school. I am so happy for all your tremendous success. You are an inspiration. Hugs

I'm 5 years out and eat between 900-1200 a day. If I sit more- work and at the computer at home- I eat 900. Days I exercise I eat more. I've found as I've gotten older, the metabolism really slows down so I have to be very careful how much I eat. It changed a lot when I was about 40, found I couldn't do so many calories. Once you hit 50 it really sucks! Oh to be a teenager again and be able to eat whatever I want in massive quantities and not gain an ounce! Those days are over for sure! Myrtle.

Hi Myrtle, I forgot about the slowing of the metabolism thing that is going to happen to me. Not looking forward to that. Gee, 900 calories seem so little for you being so far out. Do you find you are really hungry a lot on those days you take in under a 1000. What is your trick on being able to maintain that on those days?

I thought we just had this question on this board? It's fun reading how much everyone takes in once they're farther out. I do between 1000-2800 a day, sometimes a little more depending on what i'm doing. I exercise a lot - and in good weather get in some strenuous exercise so I can eat more. In the winter I'm at the 1000 mark usually. I'm 4 years out.

Hi Jenni, thanks for responding. Do you find on the days you go over 2000 you gain weight? It seems for me on the days I go over 1500 I gain weight. I excercise a lot too. I just bought a pedometer to track me steps which is encouraging me to excercise more. What is you secret to maintaining while consuming higher calories? If its excercise, how much do you do and what are you doing? thanks sorry so many questions just wanting some of your wisdom

I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that Jenni had a typographical error...how else could one maintain a steady weight within a range that is can double or come close to triple on a given day?
