Keeping it honest Friday...
My day was just like all the others...late to bed, early to rise. Overworked/underpaid. With regard to food and "being in control" I am far more unwavering in my commitment than in the past. My oldest will become a bar-mitzvah at the beginning of April, and I am working toward streamlining life into simple but meaningful solutions.
It is far easier for me to maintain commitment than play around with foods, diet, or do anything that seems temporary. I'm in this thing for life, and sometimes life throws you curve-balls and you have to change your stance...but only for a moment. You get back on base and do what you do best, while making little adjustments along the way.
So, to make a long reply to a simple question...my day is good, my month will be good, 2006 so far so good. After all, when I am in control of my eating...the rest seems to fall into place.

Dame, Hi there !!! How are you? I read alot of posts and try to reply when I can. I go to many Message Boards. I have read your profile and I am very impressed by your weight loss, your maintaining of your weight and your participation in this Web site. I have had my RNY on 12/15/03. I started my journey at 245 lbs and have gotten to goal. I have lost 110 pds. I am 5ft6 and I look tall and slim. I have gone for my 2 year checkup. My bloodwork is great. I am able to digest much better. I really had a hard time with alot of foods.I have gained 10 pounds so my weight loss is at -100 pds. When I read your posts I am inspired right away to get back on track. I see your weight loss surgery has been post-op a few years and you are trying to keep on track. I have gone back to lots of veggies, my delicous POWER CRUNCH Bars and less carbs. I have bought SF Klondike bars. I need portion control so I bought Low Fat Snack packs of popcorn instead of those big bags. I am headed in the right direction again. I still fit my size 8 clothes, even though they seem a bit tighter.
Well anyway I am glad I vented. I needed that.
Keep posting... I am reading and your are great
