Keeping it honest Friday...
on the arm comment!
I haven't eaten anything yet...coffee for breakfast today.
This is what I have planned...we'll see how it goes:
Lunch~~2 oz. sun-dried tomato turkey deli slices, 2 oz. mozzarella string cheese
Dinner~~Homemade quesadilla on low carb tortilla, refried beans w/ cheese
Snack (more like another meal, since I skipped breakfast)~~1/2 cup homemade tuna salad, 1/2 cucumber w/ light ranch
Hope you feel better VERY soon!
This is what I have had so far and what I plan to have today, if I can stay the course ( I am still struggling with the 3-4 pounds of holiday weight gain):
B: one egg, scrambled in cooking spray with ham, small amount of feta cheese and some sauteed vegetables I had left over from last night.
s: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 6 cherries. I also ate one of those Joseph's sugar free cookies someone on here was talking about from Dollar Tree. Made the mistake of buying a few bags, but have decided for the empty calorie intake I am not going to eat any more. 25 calories for one bite size cookie! Too much.
l: Probably a grilled chicken salad with a small amount of dressing (I barely even touch the surface with my dressing. People laugh at me because I just take my fork and get a little on it and dab it on the top of the salad, but I don't care, they can eat their "healthy salad" with all that fattening dressing on it if they want to. I cannot do it without gaining weight or getting nauseated).
s: 1 1/2 ounce ham with some tabasco sauce.
d: 4 oz broiled tilapia or perhaps salmon with sauteed vegetables.
I will get my totals at the end of the day. I am logging into Fitday again to track what I am eating so I can try to drop those few pounds. My jeans are tight! Funny how when you are a size 4 and you gain 3 or 4 pounds you feel it, but when I was 320 pounds, I couldn't even feel probably a 10 pound difference!
I will try not to eat anything else after that, but I have a box of Wheat thins that is not empty yet and I love to eat a few of them with green Tabasco sauce sprinkled on it. I guess you can tell I love spicy foods.
Since it is Friday night, I will probably have some wine with my DH when he gets home from working 2nd shift, since we don't see each other all week with our different schedules, I stay up late on Friday nights to spend time with him.
Angie - below goal and hoping to stay there!
I bought several bags of Joseph's SF cookies from bariatriceating.com. They used to go down OK, but something has changed of late. I've not been one to have really explosive gas problems, but OH MY! It took 2 days to get those couple of cookies out of my system and my bathroom has never been so "fragrant". Yeah, that's the word for it, fragrant. I tested it again last weekend with 1 cookie and the gas came back. So, the remaining 2 bags on my shelf need to get dumped.

If you are interested, Walden Farms makes calorie free, sugar free, carb free dressings. You can order them and other sauces from waldenfarms.com or purchase them in the diabetic section of Publix grocery store. You like spicy so maybe you will like them as is, kinda tart concidering they are made from not much of anything but spices, but I add splenda to the ranch and honey mustard and they are great. Guilt free dressing. Just thought I'd share. They also sell "to go" packs you can carry with ya.
