At 2 years I still don't eat a lot of food at one time, many meals consist of 3 oz of meat with nothing else. To boost my protein and fill the hungry spot I will eat 10 almonds between breakfast & lunch. If my calories are low for the day I eat a Power Crunch bar around 9 PM, they have approximatey 185 calories but also have 14 grams of protein. Not to mention I love the taste. Sugar free popcicles are a good treat too.
It's all about balance. You have to figure what works for you without adding too many carbs, calories or fats.

Hi Melanie, try this for a snack. Can't do it all day long but it is yummy and will curve your apetite so hopefully you wont want to snack more.
I eat is almost daily and its high in protein.
Protein Snack
1 tub of FF cottage cheese
½ box of Jello gelatin raspberry powder
1 can of crushed or cubed pineapple
Mix together. Top each serving with one scoop of strawberry cool whip. Yummy!
