I find any pasta fills me up real quick. One or two forkfuls and I'm done. I try to avoid it, as much as possible, but my boyfriend loves macaroni with meatballs....so sometimes I give in and make it. I feel like I can eat "normal" most days. I rarely am ever reminded that I have had surgery and I have to exercise my own portion controls. Yesterday, I ate: Coffee Protein shake (with 8 oz low fat milk) flaxseed bagel with swiss cheese (no butter) 16 oz water Coffee 2 clementine oranges (they are tiny) 16 oz water 1/2 bowl chili 1/2 dinner roll 16 oz water bowl of macaroni with meatballs - mostly ate just the meat ! 16 oz water It seems like more food than I ate before I had surgery? It is basically elbow macaroni, cheese, stewed tomatoes (you can use spaghetti sauce), and meatballs. I also add fried onions and sliced mushrooms to mine. Course, I can't eat too much of the pasta, but I love the meatballs. HMMMMM Karen G

I think a lot depends on the density of the foods you are eating. Darlene

Darlene, your post went poof! I agree with the density factor. But sometimes, I can just not quit eating. Not large amounts, but too often.

I agree with Darlene -- density of foods! That's true for me. I also find that eat more leading up to Aunt Flo's visit and then I don't eat the days she actually here which evens it all out in the end. The body is an amazing thing! Keep smiling, JoAnne! You are such a joy! Hugs, ~Vanessa~ (just pretending)

I still don't feel fullness or hunger. I have to wait for a hicup then I am done. Three and I will yack it back up. I just eat at specific times and all is cool. Now chicken and pork chops and even turkey just won't move through as well so I stick to softer foods. I'm like and old man at a deli anymore. kp @ goal

Joann--I need to pack for VA so I don't have much time but I just want to say--me too! I felt like I could eat non-stop yesterday. It was so unusual as it wasn't even PMS time! Today was a much more normal day. I get in trouble when the bad days come more frequently than once a month or so.
