eating more somedays than others?
ok i guess only you guys probally could understand this ..why is it somedays we can eat more than other days?
yesterday i ate the folowing things
had the usual 3 cups of coffee in the morning
went to work..at snacktime i had a yogurt .low fat/low sugar..no biggy
lunch i had a good size bowl of chile with shrededd cheese on it it was so good it went down easy and i enjoyed it..after lunch i ate a orange about a half hour after
after school i had a cup of coffee and a piece of zucchini bread
(made with biswick) i was hungry i did the water thing but still was hungry
for dinner i had half baked potatoe, salad and about 6 ounces of steak tips
then after i ate more salad..the steak tips went down so easy no gagging or getting that full feeling like if i eat other meat..
yet sometimes if i make pork chops , chicken with the exception of cutlets i get fill really fast?
yesterday i ate like a normal person..
ojh and i ate about 10 cherries last night to..
its weird how i can eat more somedays n somedays i cant
like the other night i made macaroni with meatballs for dinner
i took 2 forkfuls of macaroni ate half a meatball i dont know if it didnt faze me i gave it to my dog ..then about 8 i took the stuffing out a cannoli and ate the cheese but threw the shell away..
oh well i guess im NORMAL? now
ok i gotta go.
cioa again

JoAnn:
I find any pasta fills me up real quick. One or two forkfuls and I'm done. I try to avoid it, as much as possible, but my boyfriend loves macaroni with meatballs....so sometimes I give in and make it.
I feel like I can eat "normal" most days. I rarely am ever reminded that I have had surgery and I have to exercise my own portion controls.
Yesterday, I ate:
Coffee
Protein shake (with 8 oz low fat milk)
flaxseed bagel with swiss cheese (no butter)
16 oz water
Coffee
2 clementine oranges (they are tiny)
16 oz water
1/2 bowl chili
1/2 dinner roll
16 oz water
bowl of macaroni with meatballs - mostly ate just the meat !
16 oz water
It seems like more food than I ate before I had surgery?

I agree with Darlene -- density of foods! That's true for me. I also find that eat more leading up to Aunt Flo's visit and then I don't eat the days she actually here which evens it all out in the end. The body is an amazing thing!
Keep smiling, JoAnne! You are such a joy!

(just pretending)
I still don't feel fullness or hunger. I have to wait for a hicup then I am done. Three and I will yack it back up. I just eat at specific times and all is cool.
Now chicken and pork chops and even turkey just won't move through as well so I stick to softer foods. I'm like and old man at a deli anymore.
