I think I did REALY good today!
YOU did awesomely!
32 oz. SF GFI French Vanilla Cafe
2 oz. mozzarella string cheese
2 oz. sun-dried tomato deli turkey slices
1 medium cucumber w/ light ranch
1 oz. colby-jack cheese
3 oz. eye of round steak
1/4 c. cottage cheese
2 bites mac & cheese
This is where my day/evening went downhill...
1 snack bag popcorn
2 SF Caramel Nips
4 SF Jolly Ranchers
1 serving SF licorice
All these carbs set me up for a sugar crash (really should have seen that coming! ); so, I ended the evening with:
1/2 apple
1 1/2 tbsp. peanut butter
Suffice to say, the SF candy has been tossed...the popcorn has been put where I do not know...and, I have dusted off the tub of protein powder that I will be diving into tomorrow. I'm sticking with clear and full liquids until I either get myself under control of these carbs; OR, I gnaw my arm off in the process of trying.
Wish me luck...I'm going to need it!

OK...I have to admit it to myself...I can't do it (at least it doesn't seem to be happening today)...
This is what I've had so far:
36 oz. SF GFI French Vanilla Cafe
1/2 Slim Fast...thought that it was tasting TOO good. Looked at the can again; yep...Optima, not Low Carb...dumped the rest of it out.

And, I'm flippin' starving! I give up...I'm going to go gnaw on what's left of my steak from last night's dinner and some cottage cheese... pop a Xanax and go to bed (DH will take care of Alexis and Joshua for a few hours.)...so much for my good intentions today.

Lady you have GOT to stop beating yourself up. There are lots of low-cal - low-carb high protein options that won't leave you feeling starved or guilty when you eat them. When we go to too much of an extreme we're setting ourselves UP TO FAIL...and then the ensuing guilt that comes when we do. That's not good for your body or your mental health.
I love you - you better KNOW that lol....but you are still healing, still recovering, worn down from insuficient rest AND you're trying to starve to decarb. Please don't do that to yourself! (((HUGS))))

I know what you are saying; and, if it was someone else, I would be saying the same things...it's just SO hard to put it into perspective when it's yourself that you're dealing with. You're right and I'm going to sit down and figure out my menu for tomorrow. Once I get it 'done', wanna critique it for me...just to let me know if you think I am still going to too much of an extreme?
I knew that I would run into problems getting back into the swing of things after having Alexis...hopefully, it will get better VERY soon.
(((Hugs))) & love,
