what are you going to wear today?

Oh JoAnn as you said it's sooo sooo cold here today. I'm wearing layers and more layers. Heavy black socks under my high boots, black gaucho pants, a tee shirt and a rose colored twin sweater set and I'm still cold...trying to figure out what's hot to drink without caffeine.....maybe some decaffinated tea or latte with skim milk...that way I'm warm inside and my hands can warm up too....

I am wearing a suit again today. In fact, it is the one I am in on my profile at the top and then again at the bottom. I wear a suit everyday to work - it lets the kiddies know I mean business. I have a problem with kids not coming to school dressed properly - slippers and pajamas are for home and on an ever increasing frequency I have kids showing up like they just fell out of bed. I also must praise the IPEX. Without it...well, you don't want to know. Today, as every week day, I am wearing scrubs. Lavender pants, lavender t-shirt and scrub jacket with print on it, flowers and hearts and butterflies. This morning at the gym I wore my dark pink shorts with the print tank that matches. I'm going to a get together tonite and as long as there will be some pre ops there I have to look like I really did this wls thing perfectly. So I have a pair of jeans, with a kinda low slung waist (I know-50 years old should not be wearing these) but my shirt and sweater will cover anything that may be construed as gross, overhang. (It doesn't really hang over but it's old and flabby looking when I bend over.) If I stand up straight and don't inhale too hard they're great jeans. Size 10 and tight as can be. I have a plain shell underneath a big fluffy sweater. I think it makes me look smaller on the bottom being so fluffy on top. You know - like a puffy baby chick with those stick legs-LOL. I have a pair of killer boots, and a suede jacket I bought right after I reached goal. My new short haircut will show off the earrings and the ring I bought at the after christmas sale is gorgeous too. I'm almost ready to go. All I can have for dinner now is a stick of cheese or else I'll look like the Michelin man in my jeans and sweater. Have a good day everybody! Myrtle.

My new VS Body by Victoria black racer back bra, VS secrets undies, black trouser socks, new sz small black slacks from New York and Co., new corset style long sleeved top from The Limited sz Lg. to accomodate the boobies, and black boots. I wore my new necklace and earrings my daughter bought me for my b'day and my Thomas Kinkade purse. Oh, and I had a nice Gloria Vanderbilt coat with a fuzzy hood. I think that's it....'cept for the BLACK umbrella I had over my head. It was raining cats and dogs today. Bad storms all day. Elle

I am in uniform as a veterinary nurse. Today at our clininc we wear lavender scrubs...yeah boring, but a great job

hi Tammy ... do you wear different color scrubs for different days? I admire the work you guys do ... I would love to work with animals, but I would then have an urge to take them all home! Karyn

At my clinic, the nurses all wear the same color on the same day so the clients can tell the difference between us and the receptionist. I love all the pets....most of whom have great parents, however, I would love to have a thousand babies who live in my house. Within the past month a fellow employee, a vet and his partner ( a receptionist in our clinic), have adopted their 11th and 12th pets. The 11th was a older diabetic dog that the owner had stopped caring about after 13 years and #12 is a puppy with parvo that the owner ran out of $. Both feel the same to me, both are abandoned, but have found new families to love them.....similar to this site....:_) I have been a veterinary nurse for 17 years....that is all all I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
