Sherry--I love cinnamon rolls. I am really glad I have not tried these as cinnamon rolls seem to be one thing I have trouble controlling myself around. Well-actually those and cape cod potato chips.

I love anything with cinnamon...period. I've never heard of Cape Cod potato chips...sounds as if that is a GOOD thing. I have my menu planned out for the day...now, if only I can retain the mental fortitude to stick to it... With a new baby and getting up during the night continually, snacking/grazing has readed its ugly head...pre-pregnancy, I would just go to sleep earlier at night to avoid the head hunger. It's a habit that I'm praying I will be able to break once Alexis is sleeping through the night (hopefully sooner!). ~~Sherry

RNY on 07/21/04 with
1. 1/3 can of leftover soup Heres where it gets ugly Went grocery shopping, and bought a bag of chips. *sigh* So I munched on chips on and off the rest of the day, and didn't eat anything else... until... I tried to doctor up a can of potato/brocolli/cheese soup with some peas, and a can of tuna. To make a long story short, I now have purple bruise spots all over my face from puking. And I went to bed right afterwards, so I didn't even TRY to have anything else. All I can say is, today HAS to be better than yesterday! Michele

Hi all, Went to Fit Day and logged on what I will have for the day. Will portion it out as I eat. Thanks to all the discussion on this site, I will eat 6 portions as opposed to untimed eating. Here it is: 1 can Kirkland Chicken 2 boiled eggs 1 cup Mango Salso ..... all mixed together, yummy ..eaten 3xday snack of 3 slices swiss cheese snack of 2 tbs Natural peanut butter 1 AchieveOne Vanilla Nut protein coffee (I'm hooked on this stuff) and can easily drink at least 2-3 a day, but have to watch the caffeine. 1 large Nectar Whey Protein Isolate tea drink in water. I feel the caffeine in this one also and probably will not order it again. I have developed a high oxilate level and have to stay away from tea, chocolate, geletin, spinach and all the other good things I want. There is a whole list of things I would not have been aware of had I not had a urine test. Apparently it is a by-product of this surgery, so there is a list of foods I have to avoid. Tea will be the hardest to stay away from for me. I will have to put 10 glasses of water at my desk, as I have a difficult time remembering to drink in between meals. and... I guess I will have to crawl on my treadmill a few times today. I hate exercise. My weight is going nowhere, so that seems to be the area I have to really work on. Thanks for your patience in reading all of this. I know putting it in writing has helped me! Marilyn

Glad that reading the board has helped put your daily food into a perspective for you. I know "I" feel better when I schedule my eating out. Keeps my blood sugar on an even keel. Gee, I'd hate to give up my tea and coffee. No urine tests for me. I'll play ostrich lol. (((HUGS)))

Your chicken concoction sounds really yummy! I'm off to Costco to buy the ingredients. Thanks for sharing.
