Started my day with the obligatory croissanwich, that darn Burger King has tempted both my tummy and my libido!!! Washed the heavenly fast food breakfast down with my thermos filled to the brim with 1/2 bloody mary mix (snappy type) 1/2 Ketel One, 6 ice cubes. My thermos has a straw...makes it easy to hydrate while I drive, and I like the picture of The Power Rangers, they are hot! My snack was a delightful blend of Dove Milk Chocolates and Buffalo Wing flavored potato chips (chips on sale at Target this week). Washed it down with a 20 oz. Yoo-Hoo (not unlike a chocolate protein shake...only without protein). Lunch was a whirlwind at a local buffet. Macaroni and Cheese, Fried Fish, Spicy Fries, Jello with whipped cream adorned plate #1. Plate 2 was a cornucopia of colors and flavors as I enjoyed the "taste of Italy" station, complete with grande/maxi/mega/incredible edible pizza of the day, pastas with marinara, alfredo and olive oil/garlic butter, complimented by sky high stuffed 4 cheese Texas toast. I don't remember plate #3 through #5...could have been a momentary insulin shock hair shy of a coma thing. Dessert was mostly had standing up by the sweet table...so it does not really count. Snack 2 was a little healthier as I decided on the King Size Snickers (like a protein bar, only king-ier) bought this one from a colleague who was selling on behalf of her kid's orchestra trip to Belize. Washed it down with the few remaining ounces in my thermos...kinda warm, but somehow hit the spot. Dinner was incredible! We have had enough of dinners out, parties, professional meetings and decided to go back to basics with a simple dinner of chicken, veggies, bread. Naturally we turned to "The Colonel" for a bucket of extra crispy thighs and breasts, mashed potatoes, tiny little fried pieces of chicken (I think the Col. calls this popcorn chicken?!) and corn bread...which was really good with a thick layer of honey butter. For dessert I ate a healthy snack of peanut butter balls...I love me some peanut butter balls! ...may tomorrow bring healthy living and positive results on my scale!!! Karen
