I need to reverse my carbs and protein. I had a very stressful day and I have a real hard time with stress and nerves. I think this will happen a lot for a while not but I need to work harded on the stress and carbs(confort foods) Thanks for being here. You are an angel Hugs, Betty
Yes, I think one problem is that my son and I are alone all week for supper so he gets what he wants and I do the same. My hubby works all week 3 to 11:30. So on weekends I HAVE to cook for him and that messes me up. So its his fault also. I did forget to put on my being honest thing that I had 1/2c of your granola for 350 cal. Thats all I needed, right??!!!
Tooter! You're a homeschooler too! yippee!!!! I KNEW there was a reason you were such a research fanatic.
How old are your kids? We homeschooled both kids (son all the way through high school; daughter through 11th grade).
Both graduated college this past year. He is now a pharmacist doing a 2 year administrative residency and completing his MBA (he's only 23, married with 2 kids...can you tell I'm proud?)
She's a physical therapist getting ready to take her state boards.
What you're doing is awesome!!! There were times it was a rough road, but I don't regret a minute of it. In fact, I get kind of jealous each fall when I know so many others are looking at new books, new ideas, etc. Kind of wish I could go back and do it all again!
Cheers!
Julie
I have semi-special needs kids and the district was failing to meet those needs...so figured I'd best do it before it was too late. Sigh...thanks!
You've done amazingly well with your children! I can tell you're proud of it/them and you SHOULD be. Homeschooling is no easy task, but the rewards are astronomical! I get a small thrill when people tell me how polite and well-spoken my children are
(((HUGS)))

If you discover that my math is wrong, I don't want to know about it.
I've lost 3 pounds this week...back down to 130 lb.
I'm going over to Tek's post. It's only 7PM.
