Short day...so am short one feeding. Haven't had feeding five yet, but will before I crash for the night. Feeding one: steak sandwich...thin sliced steak, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, mayo and whole wheat bread. Feeding two: 1/2 to 3/4 cup of Orange Sugar-free Jell-O. Feeding Three: 3 eggs scrambled w/ 1/2 cup caramelized onions and 2 slice of american cheese, 1/3 cup shredded cheese (added Worchestershire sauce to the scramble before cooking. Feeding Four: 2 slices whole wheat toast (no crust) w/ 1 tablespoon peanut butter. Feeding Five: snack size bag of popcorn. Calories: 1158 Protein: 61 Carbs: 52, less fiber = 39 Not too shabby. Could have been a bit better, but compared to yesterday, I'm pleased lol. Do you all find weekends to be harder? I do, too many people sitting our eating. Gets on my nerves!

They are GOOD, aren't they? The Coffee Nips are my favorite. I am working through a bag of SF Jolly Ranchers now...thanks a LOT for telling me about them. J/K... I didn't see the Werther's...probably a GOOD thing. Feeling better now?

I'm beginning to think that I'll be in misery until I'm taking a dirt nap and pushing up daisies. Again, J/K (kind of ). The lack of sleep has just got me worn down is all. At least Alexis isn't getting up at night quite as often.

I've been chatting with a few other long-termers - now we don't have babies keeping us awake lol - but it seems to be almost 'normal' to suffer some from insomnia. I'm going to discuss this with my doc and am seriously considering trying Lunestra. I hope YOU get some rest!

Oh I am with you about the weekends....talk about grazing time that is it! I stay on track for my breakfast and maybe dinner. Its very hard to keep a structure on the weekends with all the running and socializing I do. Not that I am complaining about the running and socializing. I am loving it these days! I can breathe when I do them! Thanks for the menus! Debbie

LOL Breathing is a good thing I hear you. I just wish grazing wasn't SO easy on weekend!

Whether I find weekends to be harder depends on the weekend. I had to laugh at Sherry's post (sorry, Sherry, but I'm chuckling at your post and NOT at you!!) because if she thinks that's grazing, she should come visit ME!! 936 calories for the day?? You gotta be KIDDING me!! Maybe I'm better off posting on Tek's LIE thread!! BWAHAHAHA!!!! I grazed yesterday because it was cold outside and there was nothing else to do!! I was bored, bored, bored!! Total calories amount to over 2,000!!! BUT, according to the scale, I've gone back down 2 lbs.! It's strange that I've been hovering up and down 5 or 6 lbs. and I'm still within 2 lbs. of my lowest weight even though my total calories is up quite a bit. I track everything, whether good or bad, and I've been eating more protein than carbs and the scale seems to be happy with that! Someone tell me again what the purpose is of bypassing so much intestine? I understand that it affects our absorption, but "they" say that the absorption of nutrients is what's affected and not calories. So why bypass at all?? The more you bypass, the more you tend to dump?? Again, Sherry, NOT laughing AT you!!!! Behavior is behavior and grazing is grazing, regardless of the total number of calories grazed!! I do understand that! Jan
