Hope your feeling better tomorrow! I noticed that you do carmalized onions with your scrambled eggs. I tried your site to see if you had a recipe for the onions, but couldn't find it there. Would you share your recipe for the carmalized onions. May be simple to some, but a ? to me. I really appreciate your daily post, it helps me do allot better. I got really out of control over the holidays. Need to get back on the band wagon. Thanks Connie

Thanks! Glad you find the post helpful To carmelize onions is basically to saute them long enough to brown the sugar that occurs naturally in them. I put a tsp or two (depending on how many I'm fixing - about 1 tsp per 1/4 cup of minced/chopped onions) into a nonstick pan over medium heat. Dump in the onions and stir frequently, but NOT constantly until lightly browned (or to desired color). Hope that helps I love carmelized onions!

The strawberries were from fresh from Costco, I was skeptical too, didn't think they would be any good this time of year, but they were. Mom and I shop and split things from Costco, otherwise we throw alot of things away. My sister took some pics on Christmas that were good, I am waiting for her to get them to me and I will send you some. I need to do a little updating on my profile too. Hugs Wendy

I works with a diabetic lady who always has a drawer full of candy. Bless her heart she's very MO which goes to show that SF is definitely not low-cal! (Which is why I do not possess above mentioned candy myself.) Actually these are not too bad, about 30 calories per piece, but not something that I want to make a daily habit. She gets so excited that she can give me a "treat" so I usually accept when she offers. Luckily I only work around her about once a month.
