Live the Lie - Day 2

As an alternative to that other "Honest" thread. Not all of us care to be honest, or honesty would be embarrassing, or painful, or both. It was obvious that in yesterday's thread, there were obvious fabrications (Protein Drinks ), and that is OK. I guess "Lie" is not far from "Fantasy". So, I'll label this as a "LIE": Snack 0 - Energy drink mixed with Mountain Dew. This is my typical "wash my vitamins down" drink in the AM. Snack 0a - Naval orange. Feeding 1 - 2 cheese quesadillas (I made a bunch, so I am eating them bit by bit); Snack 1 - Cherry Danish. Snack 1a - Normal Big Hunk. Snack 1b - Cherries. Drink 1 - Began a 2 liter MD. Feeding 2 - A small bit of "Taco" Calzone... Yukk. 2 cheese Quesadillas (can't miss). I ate something else that I don't recall, but it must have been better than the Samaraii Sams Chicken Wrap I brought, which is still in my desk (probably feeding 1-2 tomorrow). Snack 2 - Several 'snack size Big Hunks. Drink 2 - more Mountain Dew. Feeding 3 - Mahi Mahi & Shrimp & Rice from LuLu Hawaiian BBQ. And FRENCH FRIES  Lots and Lots of French Fries. Snack 3 - Sleep... Feeding 3 was late, so we went to sleep pretty quickly. I think I grabbed some popcorn from my wife again in the afternoon. I found a couple mints in my pocket that I ate through the day. I also think I ate a bunch of stuff off the office community snack table. I didn't do well on my Mountain Dew today, only drank about a Liter at the office. Other than that, I was pretty much "on plan" today. I think one reason I may not have eaten as much as usual is today was a BUSY day. I looked at and opted to purchase a Dodge Caravan (we like Vans) AND we looked at a new home, which we also decided on. I fear I may be an "emotional Non Eater." :shudder: For those wondering, the scale has not budged... it's still in the bathroom. Tek

Never been much of a French Toast fan, but waffles were IT. More recently, I get a yen for pancakes & syrup. In fact, I think I had some on Sunday. Never whipped cream though, that violates my "What Whipped Cream Goes On" rules. I also have a big bag of Oroes Double Stuff on my bedside, it's been there for weeks, haven't had the inclination to open it... yet. Soon. Diet Coke? Nope. BUT, have you noticed that DIET soda seems more carbonated than REGULAR soda? I don't want to strech my pouch, so I'll stick with regular. Tek

Too funny Rita. I'm sure sticking with this diest youwon't have to worry about those twenty pounds much longer. I have to laugh as I remember somebody on this site posting about eating those stuffed french toast from IHOP on a regular basis while she was complaining about not losing. Someone else wrote back mentioning the amount of calories in it--she was shocked and said she only ate half. LOL! glad you are sticking with the mini snickers.

I think about that stuffed french toast exchange often! I sent her the nutrition information (or lack thereof) and a gentle, diplomatic yet firm and swift kick is the ass! I cannot tell you how I have dreamed about stuffed french toast since that day...they actually showed a picture of the behometh of calories and fat...the picture haunts me to this day. Karen
