Dinner~~1/4 Iowa chop, 1/4 cup broccoli and cheese, 1/3 cup 4% cottage cheese (As far as this meal goes...ummm...moo!
)
Four full-sugar Life Savers...since my blood sugars tanked after my dumb self skipped breakfast and ate a late lunch.
Calories~~688
Fat grams~~32 (Ouch!
)
Total Carbs~~19

I don't have the stats for the Life Savers added in...trying to forget that I did that.
I just can't seem to lose this weight and I have no idea what I am doing wrong...
Man...I miss that Honeymoon Phase!

hmm what you're doing 'wrong'? Well hun, how often are you skipping breakfast? Is this low of protein normal - and yeah, if you're breastfeeding AND recovering from your surgery - that's low....but pfft. I don't post this to judge - lol...but you did 'kind of' ask
Love you!!!! Worry about you lots too!

Yeah...skipping breakfast is a big no-no, I know...it happens one or two times per month, at most. My protein is usually in the 75-90 gram range; but, I wanted to take it easy after having the flu, a cold and (yes, it is now) bronchitis...yuck!
I'm not breastfeeding...wish that I was. Then, I would still have the 'chest' that I had become accustomed to during the pregnancy.
I know that you don't judge.
And, I did ask...Maybe this 'haze' will lift when we get back on a regular schedule...just need to get Alexis sleeping through the night.
Speaking of Alexis...she's bright-eyed and bushy-tailed right now...may go get a snack to nosh on while I try to get her to go back to sleep. Maybe gnaw on some more of my pork chop. Man! Those things are huge...DH didn't even finish his. I split 1/2 of mine with Joshua and ate 1/2 of what was left of it. Leftovers are on the menu for tomorrow.
You KNOW that I love you, too! And, I hope that you are shaking that cold off!

Oooh I thought you bf'ing. Hmm well then not being a doc, I'd chalk it up to lack of consistent sleep patterns
and healing. Sigh...those chops sound good! I sliced up a pork loin roast and made lean boneless chops for dinner. So good! I DO love pork. (((HUGS))) the cold is well hmm not winning, but I"m not either yet lol.

I have a feeling that it's the sodium from all the chicken broth I've been drinking lately...that, and grabbing a 'bite' here or there when I get up for the feedings for Alexis.
The Iowa chops are great; but, they each weighed like 13 oz. before being broiled...like I said, they're huge. Thank goodness the boys don't mind leftovers. I cooked four of them and there are 2 1/2 left. It's the most economical meal I've looked in a LONG time.
I just noticed that Alexis has fallen asleep in her bouncer...I better get to bed for a little while before she starts yammering for her bottle again. That girl has got a temper when it comes to eating and burping. Can't even begin to imagine where she got that from.
(((Hugs))) & love,
