ah night eating! I have found that if I don't eat within about an hour of going to bed, I too wake up in the middle of the night. Weird huh? I'm glad you have a good attitude! You're not beating yourself up - but critiquing. Yeah!

oh lord lol..nobody has to be AS anal as me with the counting. This is just part of my making new mistakes new years thing I've never been THIS watchful/mindful of my intake - even preop (when I used to fudge the totals to make them look better - hmm better to WHO? I was the only one reading it lol).

Tooter-I appreciate your starting this thread as it is interesting to see what other "long term post-ops" eat on a regular basis. I am often amazed at how little some of the people from the other board eat. I was all set to "play along" when I realized that yesterday was really an odd day of eating-maybe I will try to post after today--or then again, knowing me, maybe not. Do you get any sleep? Was I reading your post correctly? It was 12AM--3AM your time? and you were still gonna be up long enough to eat a chef salad and popcorn? BTW--I was noticing a thread the other day about drinking a few weeks after wls--somebody was asking about it. Of course, there were tons of varied responses-but I noticed you did not respond. I was sitting there waiting for your standard response with your facts and was kinda disappointed not to see it. Are you giving up on that particular subject? Just wondering. ! Hope you have a great day--I may be asleep by the time you wake up.

nooo I'm not giving up on any subject I either missed it or it was sufficiently answered. I'm trying more to prioritize. With the kids being homeschooled now - I just don't have as much time as I did before. I still try and read them all - but something had to give before I had a nervous breakdown ya know? Ok, I do sleep on a very weird schedule....so yeah that was correct. I was up until 5am this morning. Slept until noon and am back up

Home schooling--Wow that is an ambitious undertaking! There is so much responsibility in that, I never had the nerve or committment-but I was tempted, especially early on. I've met so many home-schooled kids who turned out great. I have some close relatives who tried it with their kids and it was a nightmare though. They basically never did schoolwork--it was play all the time. The oldest was 11 and he still couldn't read--at all. Thankfully, they finally switched them over to "real" schools. Re--the drinking thread--nope, it wasn't answered sufficently at all. I think the only responses with the exception of one was--well I did, started at 5 weeks --so it's fine. I kept waiting for your drinking post and it never came. Have a good day/night and good luck with the home schooling and the weird schedule too. No nervous breakdowns allowed.
