Good to See Familiar Faces
Good Afternoon,
I am back on the boards and it is so good to see familiar faces. Two years after my surgery and doing well. I need to lose my last 20lbs the hard way now and looking at some of the postings Of "why I cannot get past the last 20lbs syndrome", I realize that if I would not include the granola bar instead of cheese and peanut butter crackers I would be further down the "last 20 lb see ya road"!!!!!!!!!
I too am experiencing the 5-6lb yo yo scale. Good to see Tooter Toot still around. I always did enjoy your posts dear girl!!!!!!!!!!!

HI!!! Long time no see! I'm glad to see you're doing so well!!! I can't do granola bars OR cheese or peanut butter crackers - well I DO eat them sometimes, but boy can they either stall you out or pack the pounds back on. Ugh. I did find that I do fairly well with the whole grain/5 grain crackers with some cheese. More filling and stays with me longer. (((HUGS)))
Hey Tooter Toot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good to hear from you too!!!!!! Actually I have not posted any recent pictures. I am not good about this but if you want to see my website for a little entertainment you can view my husband and I showing our Saint Bernards. Yep, I have all this energy and you cannot keep me down. My husband lost 164 lbs. I only lost about 111 lbs and the 5-7 lb up and down drives my nuts!!!!
I really like your menu choices. You eat some of the same things I like to eat. Your are looking very good!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want you to know your sense of humor kept me going through the post op early on. I really enjoy your posts and your advice. You seem well studied on a lot of things which is why when "EF Hutton Speaks", I listen!!!!!!!!!!.
Sorry it took so long to get back but I pulled a 16 hour day today and not feeling too chipper!!!!!!!!
Take a look at my website...........

Yeah, I know the pics are not great but I guess I am kinda camera shy. I hate seeing pictures of myself even though I am a smaller person. You mean you would not like a Saint Bernard tackling you and then drooling all over you!!!!!!!!!! Most people would not either!!!!!!! You have to really love this breed to put up with their nasty habits!!!!!!!!!! They are beauties and we have 35 shows planned this year for them. We are getting two more soon and plan to do a little breeding to continue their line. We have a fine breeder in Tennessee and she is one of the best.
Are you drinking any protein drinks still. If so TT, what do you like to drink these days. I still rather drink than eat since I work and sometimes cannot fit a meal into my mouth without be consious I am consuming. (Fast Pace where I work) I do not live on them but we have been drinking Carb Solutions (Chocolate) for so long. The Local Kroger orders them for us (12boxes-contains 4 drinks) and we pack them for lunch and when we go on dog shows. Anyway, I sure do not have the relationship with food the way I used to. I wonder when I read that there are some people who have hurt themselves eating by eating too much and it becomes serious for them. I keep wondering how that happens because I learned early on to be "very afraid" of eating too much. I do not like dumping.
TT, I hope you are having a great weekend! I am freezing my butt off in Spring (Houston) Tx right now. I know, I know, we do not know what cold is.........I am still freezing my buttocks off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take care,
Jackie
We had a neighbor growing up, who got his St. B drunk every Friday night on whiskey. That poor dog! We knew when he'd 'had enough' because you could hear him howling all the way up the street. As a child, it was funny - as an adult I'm shocked and saddened.
I have never been a protein 'drinker' but recently discovered Profect Protica 3 ounce protein 'shots' - I enjoy those as a quick was to get in 25 grams of protein and only 100 calories - in 3 swallows. Not nasty tasting, gritty, stinky, etc lol. But I still get most of my protein and other nutrients from food.
WARM WEATHER - I AM SO READY!
