Ok, here's day two of my keeping it honest post Definitely got more carbs in today, but I feel better about the overall totals. Got some veggies in, NO Chocolate and stayed well under my carbs from grain totals. Yeah! What screwed me today was the french fries, but I kept it to a small amount and ate it only after my meat and veggies, so no guilt. Just could have/should have skipped them. Ya know? Anyway, how'd YOU do today? (by the way, the fiber doesn't include my fiber from flax lol - so I'm getting in sufficient fiber for my required amount) Feeding One: 2 slices whole wheat toast (no crust) w/ 1 tablespoon peanut butter (on a toast and PB kick lately) Cup of Coffee - Sweet & Light Feeding Two: 1 hotdog wrapped in a crescent rolls w/ mustard; 1 additional crescent roll with a tsp of butter (bad choice to be frank...but I let the kids choose lunch. My kids have NO taste lol) Diet Pepsi Feeding Three: 3 ounces steamed Lean Top Round steak, w/ garlic and Worchesterchire; 1 cup (figured a full cup, but only ate about 3/4 cup because they were overcooked - bah!) steamed Brussel Sprouts with 2 tablespoons real butter; 1/3 cup tiny french fries (baked); 2 tablespoons Ketchup Cup of Coffee - Sweet & Light Feeding Four: 5 Nalley Baby Crunch Dills; 2 Moz Cheese Sticks Diet Pepsi Haven't had these yet, but they are on the menu for before bedtime tonight: Feeding Five: 2 eggs scrambled w/ 1/4 cup caramelized onions and one slice of white american cheese (added Worchestershire sauce to the scramble before cooking. (OR will have moz cheese sticks and pickles again - that will bring the total down by 65 calories, 3 protein, and 3 carbs) Cup of Coffee - Sweet & Light Feeding Six: 1/2 to 3/4 cup of Orange Sugar-free Jell-O Calories: 1572 Protein: 70 Carbs from Grain: 34 Carbs from veggies: 22 Carbs from other: 23 Total Carbs: 79 Fiber: 9 Total Net Carbs: 70

I don't eat french fries on a regular basis at all, but a couple of weeks ago I went out to lunch and thought fries would be particularly good. They were!! I had some, and left over half of them on my plate! It made me feel so good because I enjoyed them and pushed the rest away and now I don't crave them!! I don't suggest doing this with red light or trigger foods though, because it could start a binge or detour or whatever! I ate about 1,800 calories yesterday with about 130 grams of protein and 100 grams of carbs. Less would have been better, but I did some stationery biking, so at least I moved! Jan

Yeah for you on teh stationary bike! I so want to get one of those. I guess I should have had it on my Christmas list, but even if I got one, I'm not sure WHERE I'd put it Fries. Thankfully, if I eat more than 5 or 6 fries it makes my pouch ache something fierce. Thank you, G-d lol.

I've got some good news for you, Tooter. My stationery bike isn't really a stationery bike!!! It's actually a "pedal exerciser" and it's just the pedals. You can put your feet in the stirrups (sorry for THAT visual) and adjust the tension and pedal away in any chair you want!! The whole thing is small enough that you can put it on a table in front of you and work on your arms, too. I got it from QVC for $32. LOVE IT. Jan P.S. - Greasy fries wouldn't have been good, but these weren't bad. Too much grease doesn't sit well and I agree with you - Thank You, G-d!!!

Silly me!! Forgot to mention the obvious thing! Because that pedal exerciser is so small, you can put it in a closet or under a chair or desk or whatever. I also bought a step machine thing that's like an elliptical machine, only it's just the feet part and that was about the same $$ and is also small. I also didn't want a room full of LARGE and unused, expensive exercise equipment so now I just have those two small, affordable things plus a child's ball for about $3. Jan

Glad you joined in! I love seeing what other grads are eating. The mainboard posting on this is good, but usually it's people less than a year out - and that frustrates me sometimes lol. 64 ounces ALREADY? WOW! Good for you! Good luck on the no smokin!

Looks good so far! Thanks for posting. I've been waiting until night to post when I know what I've eaten or am planning to eat the rest of the day. Not that anyone else has too lol...It just why I won't post what I've eaten today until tonight. I'm trying for a range of totals. ugh. Trying for my "New Mistakes" theory lol. I've no****ched my food intake closely in a long time. That chicken spinach sounds GOOD!!! Didn't even know about it. I'll have to look. Is there a sauce of some kind?
