slow board

Does the slowness of this site drive anyone else nuts? Why does everything take so long? It seems to take even longer on the main board. Could it be all those jumping guys and flashing stars that make it worse over there? I have high speed--can't imagine how long it would take if I was on dial up. Wish there was a way to set preferences so that I could read and not have to get all the graphic stuff.

I hate reading posts on the main board with a toilet that shoots water up on my left always in my line of sight when I'm reading. Wish I could turn off the ads too. I would die if I still had my dial up - I wouldn't post or read here - the wait would do me in! Mutle.

Yeah it's bad, but IT says all systems are good so Darned if I know. ugh.

I think the entire board was unduly slow on Wednesday, but now that it's Thursday, perhaps things will speed up some. As for pop-ups, well, there are a lot of downloads that can block them, including ads and I'm so happy to have that! Jan

I don't get pop-ups from this site. The only ads I see are those in the frames. Darlene

I think every day is slow, just some a little slower than others. Hmm--I have a pop up blocker, but I don't think I get pop ups from this site.
