what draws you in??

What gets you to read a post ...title or name of person who posted?? Wendy

Hi Wendy ... usually the title gets me first ... for some reason I'm drawn to posts that start with "help" (I have an innate desire to help people, when will I learn ... when will I learn?) ... but there are certain people's posts I love to read (especially if I need a laugh or inspiration) ... then again, there are now certain people's posts who I will not even look at, even if the title is intriguing.

I can't remember names unless they are often posters..the main board moves so fast...But use that back button for some... (outa there).. I too am a laugh inspiration chaser Wendy

On this board I usually hit recent and read all the posts (in the old format). On the main board--it is definitely the title and sometimes I check out those posts labeled HOT just to see what's causing hoopla.

yes, hoopla is good esp the dig down dirty deep stuff.. more more Wendy

hmm usually title, IF I don't read every post lol. I tend to at least hit 90% of the original posts, but if the topic bores me I'll close it without reading the thread OR if the post is well answered, I close it. Rarely pay TOO much attention to name to open one.

I tend to first read those posts whose titles suggest I have a frame of reference to help. Then of course, ya know, Tooter - we *are* gonna read YOURS! I attempt to read as many as I can and help out as much as possible, although there are some I just read and let fly........

Don't answer this, because I'm not fishing for compliments or even an answer - just wanted to say thanks, AND I'm really not sure WHY people read my posts! As my gram called me - I'm just a magpie "Help I'm talking (typing) and I can't shut up!" lol
