Pear Granola muffins using Tooter's granola

Hi Tooter, Where do you find unsweetened coconut???? Is the one you buy in the groc store unsweetened? I would like to make the granola. Thanks,Betty

It's not easy to find in a local store. If you have a Fred Meyers (also known as Krogers), they have it in the baking aisle along with other Bob's Red Mill Product. I also order it from www.netrition.com. Pretty good stuff! The stuff you find in the normal area of the baking aisle IS sweetened. Sadly enough. In a pinch, you can rinse the stuff in the store and spread it out on a baking sheet and 'dry' it in a 150 to 200 degree oven, bu****ch closely so it doesn't dry out too much. I rinse my raisins too lol.
