Does anyone do kickboxing? We have a new gym that opened up on my way home from work. I plan on going on Tuesday and Thursday after work and then on Sats during the day with hubby. I take a dance class on Monday nights. I'm getting off track of my question, they gym has a kick boxing class on Tuesday and Thursday's and I'm wondering how hard that would be on my bad bones in my hips and legs..... So, any feedback would be great..... Darlene

I have done cardio kickboxing and Karate. the kicks kill my hip and I had some damage. I gave up the kick boxing, but attend karate class w/ my 7 yo grandson, but talked w/ the instructor and explained the situation that I am there for quality time w/ my precious grandson and not to get a black belt or even any belt, and he said do what I can but don't hurt my self. I may have torn cartilege in my hip joint, and had alot of fluid in the joint and had to have it injected with steroids to decrease the inflammation and pain. It was fun tho til it started hurting. I really liked the feel of it and the sense of strength I got from it.

Most of the gyms in my area do not have pools. The Pilates/yoga group is later in the evening so would have to kill a bunch of time.... thanks for the response.... Darlene
