Hi Candi, I appreciate your posts but seldom reply to the goal ones. I'm sorry but I guess I don't have daily goals, at least none that I really zero in on. I do have ongoing goals, probably the same boring ones most of us have, to stay compliant (my surgeon's favorite word), to exercise, to drink enough water, to get in my protein, to take my vitamins, and be satisfied with the progress I have made so far. Those goals never change for me. I don't want to bore you all with them. Right now I guess I have one big goal, to find a way to stay away from all the leftovers from this weekend, the candy, the cookies, the pie, the dips, etc. I can't throw it out. If I were alone I would but my husband & son will eat this & would throw a fit if I threw it out. They are thin. They can eat it with no trouble. I am thinking of boxing up the cookies & candy & sending them out to the frig in the barn. They can eat them there when they want a snack & I don't see the goodies. Out of sight, out of mind. I am so glad Christmas is over. too bad I have to prepare for company next weekend too. Another day of temptations. Dixie

Hi Candy - I have the same goal I have every day.......to keep from emotional eating. It is a constant battle, for me. I am fine, as long as I am busy, but I have a cold right now, everyone is home and under foot (and wants to eat regular meals - imagine that!) and I'm not wanting to anything, but snack. So it has been harder this week. I am holding water and hate that. But life goes on and I am so thrilled with where I am - 6 pounds (usually) below goal and feel great. Thanks for the positive posts and giving everyone the chance to this positively. Linda -206

I'm sorry I don't respond to this post often. I do have goals - but they are rarely a goal today - I mean shopping for dinner isn't so much a goal but a necessity hehe. I DO read this daily though!

Candi--I'm sorry--I read your daily post--I just don't have daily goals--or even long term goals for that matter. I almost never set goals--I tend to live in the moment and not pay much attention to the long term. Probably not a good thing, but it works for me.
