Merry Christmas to all
I just checked in on the Grad Board, and noted that there were only 8 posts so far today. Some might lament the lack of traffic, but I see it as a sign of health. We Grads have our lives back. We are out and about, no longer sequestered by obesity. We are free to attend to our own needs and those of others. We are even free of the need to be tethered to this message board.
So to you, my friends, please accept my heartfelt wishes for a Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year. One of the great gifts we have is the very real prospect of many more. Yes, we will have trials and 'issues', but we will also have each other. So, my fellow sojourners, let's enjoy the Holidays and get ready for another trip around the Sun!

Jay--Merry Christmas to you too Jay! And Merry Christmas to everyone else too! I'm sitting here celebrating my new life. Three years ago I was anxiously awaiting my surgery and just trying to gather my energy to do what I had to do. Holy camoly--what a difference. I'm so grateful for what this surgery has given me.
You are definitely right--while the lack of traffic on our board is disappointing sometimes--it really is a sign of our new lives.
I just returned from my cruise. I'll post later about my different experience from my last cruise--just before surgery.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Merry Christmas to you too, Jay Bob! We're at my daughter's home in Hudson, Ohio and I PROMISED them I would wait until 6:00 before I woke everyone up asking "where are my presents!?" I'm still such a kid at heart and I'm waiting for 15 more minutes to pass before I can tear into all those packages under the tree!
Merry Christmas to you all ... and may you be blessed in 2006!

Nope ... as soon as I hit the submit button on my post I decided what's 15 minutes early?! After all, I'm still the mom even if she is 28 years old! I got a new IPOD, books, DVDs, CDs, collector series ornaments, and this really neat heat panel to put under my desk now that I stay colder with less insulation!
Did you get good stuff too?

Merry Season's Chanukka,
We exchange gifts on Christmas Eve.
I got beautiful clothing in size L. My heart sank. I'm sure they could see my face but I was so shocked.
Anyway, this morning I am up early as usual and the house is quiet, as usual.
I tried them on, just for the heck of it.
They fit me! I simply cannot believe it. While it doesn't rise to a Christmas miracle, I am so surprised to be surprise after all this time..
So, there you have it. (you DO have it, don't you?)
Just be happy
