Has anyone had this done and what does this involve and did your insurance pay for it?Ok I went to the Doctor because I have been having pain in my breast area and he checked me and said Tahnkfully there is nothing there. But the pain is do to what he called the sag.So he said to try a good support bra and if that did not work we would consider Breast Reduction.Well it is not working and the pain is getting worse I am 2 years out now and I figured this would of happened to me sooner, but I guess not.Well we are now discussing having it done and I just wanted to hear what everybody on here know's.Thanks!!! Candi I did not have breast reduction, but I did have breast reconstruction. It was not all that bad. My breast hurt a bit more than when you have your period and the incisions were not much more that discomfort. It was the easiest of all my surgeries. If you have enough tissue there your doctor should be able to make you some nice looking boobage! Good luck and happy holidays to you!

Hi Candi, I had several procedures done on 11/15/05, but one of them was a breast reduction, and my insurance did pay for it. The pain isn't too bad, and they look great now! I am still fearly newly post-op, but hopefully my back pain and rashes under breasts will be gone now. to have insurance pay, depends on your insurance. I had pictures (without my rashes) and just documentation from my obgyn about them, and they approved me. Even if they hadn't I would have had it done anyway. For now, definately buy a good supportive bra! Good luck and Merry Christmas! Tricia
