This post just begs for the deceased "viewed" counter from the Main Board. You may recall that a "viewed" counter was added to the Main Board, so that each post would have a tally of how many 'hits' it received as well as the number of responses. It was added so that people would not feel shunned and could see that someone had actually read their posts. But as it is with the law of unintended consequences, people quit being offended because no one read their posts; they became offended because no one (or not enough) people responded. (To me it is seems obvious: some people were born and exist for the sole purpose of having their feelings hurt.) OH determined that these feelings of the easily bruised needed to be accommodated, and so the "viewed" counter went into the bit bucket.
But I digress. I wonder how many people viewed this post, did a Homer Simpson-esque" DOH! and went on.
