Grad board

I am so glad to see there is a grad board to come to. I have stayed away from the main messageboard because I didn't feel like I fit in and needed more. I am so glad to see so many that were the "oldies" when I first had my surgery. So much has changed since the first year and I was looking for more, wanting to see how others are dealing with life after and maybe get some inspiration to continue on with this battle with food.

You might also enjoy the "over 50" board. You don't have to be 50 to join in the fun, just be willing to discuss the serious issues and play a bit. The group is smaller than the main board so you get to know the people and consider them friends in time.

Thanks Pat, I never got past the main messageboard. When I visited the local boards, they weren't as active as the main board.

[waves to the fellow Buffalo Gal] Glad to see that you found us. True, our problems and challenges are different the farther out we get. I still routinely read the main board because I like seeing what the newbies have to say and occasionally even get to help some of them to avoid mistakes that will bite 'em on the butt later.

Hi Angel, I guess I need more support further out, at the beginning the surgery did the work. See you at Synergy.

Joyce, I think you are so right. Unfortunately, we are not having a Synergy meeting for January because of the holidays ~ however, I am thinking of having a little "get together", maybe for coffee or something, of a few of us "old timers". What do you think? Youc an email me off list.
