We've been listening to a totally ALL Christmas music station on the radio. I have so many favorites, it's hard to choose. At the moment, I'm listening to Christmas in Dixie! Love it. So, what's your favorite? Elle MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!

My all time favorite is Blue Christmas by Elvis Presley and next would have to be "I'll Be Home for Christmas". I have always worked far away from my parents and onlt got to visit certain times. Christmas was always one of those times. I worked in a factory for eighteen years before I was a nurse. They would pipe the music in and man o man!!!!!! i couldn't hardly wait for the end of the day at Christmas Holiday. I stayed so homesick all the time. The only year I was ever away from my parents at Christmas ****il they passed) was one year I was living in Abilene Texas and didn't have the money to get home. I was a newly wed living near an army base. My parents sent a big care package and called on Christmas. We had two phones in that little three room apartment and we each had a phone. We talked and cryed for what seemed like hours. I resolved right then to NEVER miss being away from home again in my life and I didn't until they were both gone. Speaking of songs, have you every heard, It's Christmas Time. pretty baby then it says something like "and Santa Claus is a comin in a big black cadillac." That is also on Elvis Christmas album and is one of those blusey woosy songs that only he cold sing and do justice. Can ya tell I am a huge Elvis fan".

My favorite Christmas song is a well-done rendition of "O Holy Night". I believe that Jesus is the reason for the season and although I enjoy all the music, it's the worship that really fires me up during the Christmas season! Jan

I love the song, (any version of it) "the Christmas song" I think that is the name of it. Starts off, " Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack frost nipping at your nose, Yul tides being sung by the fire and folks dressed up like eskimos."

My fave is not a traditional one but I love the song by Vince Vance and the Valiants, "All I want for Christmas is You": Take back the holly and mistletoe Silver bells on strings If I wrote a letter to Santa Claus I would ask for just one thing I don't need sleigh rides in the snow Don't wanna a Christmas that's blue Take back the tinsel, stockings, and bows Cause all I want for Christmas is you I don't need expensive things, they don't matter to me All that I want can't be found underneath the Christmas tree You are the angel that tops my tree You are my dream come true Santa can't bring me what I need Cause all I want for Christmas is you I don't need expensive things, they don't matter to me All that I want can't be found underneath the Christmas tree You are the angel that tops my tree You are my dream come true Santa can't bring me what I need Cause all I want for Christmas is you Cause all I want for Christmas is you (repeat twice) Hugs, Connie
