WAHOO 1 year post-op today! I've went from a tight 30/32 3-4x to pants size 8 tops M/L! 348/177/??? Yes, I could have done better and I'm not quite done, but I don't want to lose a whole lot more. I'm 5'7" and people assume I weigh about 150 now, I must hide it well My wheelchair is covered in dust as is my c-pap and several medications. I feel great!

Congrats on your anniversary! Not only with the weight loss but with getting out of the wheel chair and off the c-pap and meds. Isn't it great to live again!!! Terry Coles 276/120

Dang, Vickie! I had to look at your profile to even know who you were... yep, the same Vickie I remember from when I first found this board almost three years ago. You have done a great job, congratulations!! Hugs, Gina

Thank you Connie! I should have explained that, right? Meaning, I could have done better with my food intake. I still don't eat a lot in volume, but sometimes I make bad choices. I eat 1 solid meal a day and if I eat it too early in the day, I'm done, only fluids from then on. My exercise habits, are pretty good now, but I didn't/couldn't start much until I was 6 months out. I guess that part isn't solely on me. I mean the additional surgery [splenectomy sp] and just getting out of my wheelchair, took a lot out of me and my exercise progress was slow. Totally being too hard on myself in that dept., I did do what I could do. Again Thank you I'm still here to learn, only graduated to a more knowing group of people, with more knowledge than I at this stage of the journey. -- and please feel free to slap me, if I need it.
