Hi!
JoAnn sent me over; she thought I might find it to my liking, being over 2 years out. I had surgery in April 2003, lost 144 lbs (still trying to lose those last few). I had a circumferential abdominoplasty in September, which I'm finally feeling *mostly* recovered from.
This surgery has changed my life, I met the man of my dreams through this site and I'm engaged to be married. Whodathunkit?

Hmmm... I posted an answer to this early this morning... wonder where it went? Wonder if this one will show? ) back in Feb, things progressed, he proposed Aug 25 while we were in New Mexico visiting his parents, he'll be moving here next spring from Lancaster, CA, and now you are caught up!

Gina (aka Roxxi, aka "answers to whatever") Hi Gina-I posted a reponse this morning too--and they are all gone--hmm, I hate that. Welcome to the grads board and congrats on your engagement! How cool is that?! I just read your update on your profile regarding the plastics. I have read on three different plastic surgery websites that ps's are having to spend a lot of time managing the expectations of post wls patients. After all those years of abusing our bodies--I am just not sure there are many of us who will achieve perfection.
Glad to see you are keeping in touch with Kary (I read your post on the main board). Glad to hear she is losing again. Please tell her I said hi. Are you going to VA in January? Maybe I will see you there.
