Been a while - but checking in...

Hi there girlfriend! How the heck are you? Nice to see you pop in every now and then. We've missed you too. Where have you moved to? Glad all is going well with your roomie. Do I remember correctly--you, too, are going to the VA get together? I've been pretty busy-love this time of year.

Hey cutie!! I'm doing great (finally)!! Just had my "routine bloodletting" yesterday (testing the thyroid levels to make sure they're back to normal after my long stint of misbehaving (not taking my meds) -- I'm feeling better so I can imagine everything is getting back to normal. Got a "boob squeeze" appointment next week -- I'm so looking forward to that one (ha!) I'll be glad to get that one out of the way (not to mention, Helmut will be here that night for a 4 day visit during the holidays!!) I finally moved to the "permanent" apartment in Montgomery (same stinkin area -- not Colorado like I'd hoped) -- but all is well and the place is cozy and feels like home. My roommate is 64 but cool as hell and we're getting along fabulously! She's very supportive and trustworthy -- so none of my "outside life" gets repeated at my "work environment" -- which is very cool! I'd promised Anthony many moons ago that I would be in Virginia for the convention -- but he's reached a point that he's not wanting any part of it. If I do go to Virginia - I won't be doing the formal convention -- but catching up with small groups outside of the formal gathering. I'll keep you up to date as I know more. I'm trying to talk Susan Maddy into coming too if I do make it -- I so want to meet her -- So what's been going on in your life?? I've missed soooooooo much being away so long!!
