WHAT have I missed??

I've been so busy I haven't been on here for awhile but apparently I've missed a lot! What the heck is happening here? I've been searching on the main board for the posts some of you are talking about; restaurant cards...ignorant questions/statements..etc. How come I'm not finding any of them? Someone wanna fill me in? I guess this will teach me for staying away so long, huh?

I missed it all too. My MIL has been with us for a week and a half so I have been tied up. I have been cooking and everything else. You know cooking really fancy stuff making her think I do that all the time LOL. But I got outed. My son said, "Mom I do not want Gran to go home. You cook all the good stuff when she comes." That will teach me, won't it? So, I do not know what in the world has been going on, but the posts must have been pulled or something because I can't find any of them either. Melissa

I missed it too. I did hop over there one day to catch part of one thread before it was pulled. First there was a thread regarding rest. cards and Old Country Buffet not accepting them and someone wrote a letter. Of course that went on for a while. Then Tek posted a humorous letter also to Old Country Buffet (at least I think that is the name), pointing out the absurdity-and that definitely did not go over well. Then somebody posted asking if there was a board where newbies could go and ask ?s. Big conversation evolved from that regarding newbies and who they should take advice from etc. "Why can't we all just get along?"

ok first someone posted that she wrote the golden corral a letter becauyse the manger was rude to her about the restraunt card.. so the lawn chair and pocorn came out on that... tek posted a letter to the golden corral which was funny and all hell broke loose.. then yesterday someone posted about wanting to gain a extra 5 pounds so she could get the surgery..and insurance fraud came up.. off course i was in the middle of both treads except for teks i was on the lawn chair with my bag of popcorn.. thats about it
