Dx--I absolutely adore your posts and you patience has really impressed me. I do have one question though--why is it that you post in the format that you do? Is it the artistic side of you? Been wondering that since you started posting.

I have been wondering the same thing! Hate to say it, but sometimes I choose not to read the posts because I am challenged by the format. Go ahead...try to teach this old dog new tricks! I am a fan of the Dx posts that I read, but I find myself opening and then closing due to my infantile resistance to change. Karen

Lynda, Secret No More! I'm on so often because I work at the computer Constantly. I use drafting And Graphics programs. I have the Two Monitor Set up, And while I work, I leave a little strip of A window open to AMOS. As long as I keep hitting return, I can see what I've typed! It's the perfect little mini break As I wait for my drawing To do some big "number crunching" Function. I used to spend that time Popping an M&M in my mouth, Having a big Swig of Diet Coke, And maybe, stepping out for A Cigarette! AMOS, has been, Through this little window, My Alternative to Poor Health! And That's It! Some one once explained to me "For Your information!" "Haiku has a Specific Syllable Pattern" And you so often mess it up, Why do you even Bother Trying?" "rofl: What people won't "read into" a post! I guess they Showed Me! Best Wishes- Dx

I read your post indeed. The format mystery is solved this day. I am down with you. Karen 5-7-5 (Instead of making poor attempts at Haiku, I should end this day of complete and utter professional procrastination on the job)

Thanks so much for sharing the secret DX--maybe I should try that too. My computer is always on with this site often in the background.

I read the big board everyday. I have actually found somethings very informative but more than that I get free entertainment. I also am usually energized by the board to never stray from my program as I am successful and have seen so many fail. I now can see the roots of that failure. I can also see many who struggle to find answers. I pity the ones who want validation for returning to their old habits. But it only reinforces my energy to be the new person I have become. I rarely post a reply. Today there is a girl wanting to gain enough weight so that she could have a large enough BMI to qualify for surgery, She has been bulimic and wants not to have to diet anymore. I had to laugh. I hope she gets her surgery even if fraudulent because she can then see that never having to diet again is after death! Use the main board for enertainment. Even if there is a question for which you have the perfect answer, so will someone else. Our problems are maintenance issues. Our problems are dealing with old demons and controlling them. We can eat more now and face the old temptations daily. We need each other in a vastly different way. We have proven that whatever our strategy or program it has worked for us and now we need to band together to keep it happening. Let the newbies find their way and let this band of brothers and sisters face our challenges stronger because we have each other. Anne Surgery 8/15-2001 at 417# now 194.
