November 10th, Plan Plans, Not Results Understanding that we do not have the power to control the results of our plans is an important step toward accepting reality. We do make plans, based on the information, experience, and insight which we have available to us. The outcome of our plans, however, is dependent on cir****tances which are frequently beyond our control. When we accept the fact that the results of our plans are always in the hands of our HIgher Power, we can relax and leave the outcome to Him. When we do not insist compulsively that life go according to our design, we are able to avoid the inevitable frustration produced by such an unrealistic attitude. However good our intentions, our designs are always finite and based on limited knowledge. We need to trust a Power greater than ourselves. Our idea of what is best for ourselves and those who love may not always be right, according to God's will. The faith that He will carry out His design for us, even when we do not understand it, relieves us of much anxiety and frustration. I leave results to You. Readings by Hazelden Meditation Series

Jeannie, Thanks for these! I love this one. As a Designer, I spend my Life Planning. My Mentor, A Canadian Designer, Anthony Kadlec, Long ago gave me this- Always plan thoroughly but don't seal it up And not let last minute inspiration in. "When designing, Always leave a little space For God to walk through the room." It has served me well. Best Wishes- Dx

Hey Dx First let me say that I truly hope your doctor is right that it is only a muscular problem. I hope the meds help (even though they are making you loopy). LOL.... I love the advice The Canadian Designer gave you. Especially the part about always leave a little space for God to do a walk through. DH and I are in the process of making plans for our future in regards to his career and possible relocation. This has been very difficult to say the least, but in the end, we want the results to be God's divine plan for our lives. Wishing you a full recovery! Jeannie
