Got a Pain! Quick Question Folks, Ideas?

You can still have a bowel impaction and have your bowels work normally. It could also be gallbladder. Do you still have it? darlene

Darlene, No Gall Bladder, They took it with the WLS. I think we'll be checking for the Bowel Obstruction Tomorrow. Thanks, Best Wishes- Dx

Dx, This is just a possibility, but it sounds like the type of pain I had when I had pleurisy, especially the part about the sharp, stabbing pain when you take a deep breath. Have you had a cough or bronchitis or anything like that recently?? Good luck tomorrow. Eileen

Eileen, Nope. No cough or such, And it's just a bit lowere than the bottom Of that last rib. It's not completely tied to the breathing either. That's just One of the things that can cause it to hurt. Sometimes the pain hits when I'm just sitting. Oh well, I got a lot of good things to check for tomorrow. Thanks, Best Wishes- Dx

Just from reading the description of the pain I too would have guessed spleen or gall bladder, but since you have neither of those anymore that couldn't possibly be it. So I have no idea. But I did want to tell you I was thinking about you and I hope they find the source of the problem and get you fixed and out of pain soon. I don't have any ideas that haven't been suggested but wanted to tell you that you will be in my thought and prayers for a quick resolution to the problem. Let us know what you find out.
