Happy saturday to everybody ..i hope everyones HUNKY DORY PEACHY KEEN and all that happy stuff.. wow what can i say this has been a nutty week in school..i kinda had a blow up with the teacher and other para that i work with..ok scenerio..the teacher is young she dont know whats shes doing half the time but in time she will learn right? we 2 paras are there to help her guiode her no? well the other para is a REAL HOME ECONIMICS teacher from another state..so she thinks shes a real teacher asks her consults with her on things going on with classroom.. meanwhile for over 10 years ive been working with special needs kids..not that im a expert but i think i know alot about them how to handle them wehen thue get violent when they act out..ECT ECT ECT.. well 2 of the girls have started thier periods and when its change time i go with them to nurses office help them not actually touch anything but tell them what to do and make sure everything is in tact..another child has bowel problems so she dont wipe her butt right because her mentality is of a 2 year old so who wipes her butt..me i cant see the kid walking around all day with crustys..sorry to be so graphic but how else can i explain this situatuion.. so we had ameeting after school to go over the progress and the 2 of them are talking like imm not there ..well the **** hit the fan and i calmly told them how i felt..then from clamly i kinda lost my temper and told the 2 of them that i was not the WICKER RED HEADED STEP SISTER and if i wasnt going to be treated like a ewal in the room i would go to the dept head .. now mind yopu im back at my old school were my friends are all at..i know the staff there and im the class clown in the teachers room and everybody likes me in school ..these 2 are new at the school and what it all came down to is joulasy..they are both insecure and joulas of me well im not going to be trweated like **** im not making enough money to and its a job not my life i give 120 percent when im there and at 245 my job shuts off..end of it so then they said something about christmas gifts i said oh .FAKE NAME HERE>>patty uyou have 3 kids you have enough to do dont worry about me dont buy me anything we dont ahve to exchange and to the teacher who is foreign FAKE NAME HERE>>LING..your culture dont celebrate christmas you dont have to get me a gift i know the 2 of you canngive me the best gift off all.and ive been giving you it since september..RESPECT..bahaaaa 'should of seen there faces! hahahahahaahahaha so to make a short story short things are goingb better at work and the dept head came to visit and asked me to pick up a few things for the classroom and a microwave.. and funny thing i was asked because opf my experience not my degree.. gotta love karma.. well i gotta go lok for a bargain with a microwave..and spend some money for class. have agreat day hugs:KISS; lifes a ride enjoy it JoAn"n :

Joann-Well I am really glad you spoke up and hopefully, things will continue to improve. There is no doubt in my mind that you have lots to offer these kids and the teacher too. My MIL was a special Ed aid--let me tell you that woman had a gift for working with kids and no degree could replace that. I am heading to Boston on Dec.7, which I think is a Wednesday and will be there through the week-end. Dec 7th in Dennis' birthday--that is why I can remember that date. Maybe we can get together--maybe we could visit Jane who will be in the hospital or recuperating. Hopefully, Rita can come too--where is she? Have not seen her in ages. Hi Lynda Glad to hear you'll be in Boston soon. Maybe we can all get together. Just been a little busy. A little slower recovering from surgery than expected and ya I know it's only been three weeks, but why not a super speedy recovery? All went extremely well. I keep looking to see where have I gone??? Incision from behind one hip to behind the other but as a result even the top of my thighs are in better shape than before!!! Getting ready to go to Aruba for Thanksgiving week. How are you recovering? I know you mentioned a seroma. What an inconvenience!!! Hope all is better Talk to you before you come up Rita

I wish I could do this...maybe work situation would improve but my guess is it won't help. So I don't do it. I am glad you did it and perhaps this will improve your situation! I think a smoke is in order for this behavior! Go Girl!!! Debbie
