I made it through the weekend and stuck to my vows - yay! I wondered there for a few days if I was going to be able to even FIND the track, much less get back on it. I'm back though and clinging to the straight and narrow. Today I vow to: ? Eat fewer than 1000 calories; mostly from protein. ? Drink a minimum of 80 oz. of water. ? Eat three meals and one snack ONLY... no grazing! ? No eating after 7:30 PM ? Take the stairs instead of the elevator at the office. ? Work out at the gym after work. How did y'all do this past weekend? What are you planning to do today to stick with your own personal plan? Join in and make that committment --- it helps to be accountable. Y'all have a Marvelous Monday! DeeDee

I did pretty good over the weekend, considering I was out of town at relatives. Today, I vow to get all my water and protein in. I will exercise at the gym after work. No snacking after 7:30 p.m. (I still have trouble with that one, but it gets me in the most trouble if I break it! I'm thinking of taking up knitting because I need something to do with my hands when I watch TV. It's either that or give up TV entirely, instead of most evenings. Old habits die hard.) Thanks for making me accountable, DeeDee. I am actually within 3 pounds of goal! It's the closest I've ever been. Joni

Good Morning Everyone! Wish I could report that I follwed my plan this weekend, but I didn't. No excuses (well I have plenty of them but not acceptable). Anyway, I will try my hardest in spite of being in the midst of Tornado Warnings and strong winds and rain for half the day today. I'm thankful I still have power. I refuse to be fearful and I refuse to eat over it all today!!!!! I have plenty of water, protein shakes & bars on hand if I lose power. My best bet is to get my walking in on the treadmill just in case. Glad to hear that everyone is doing well and DeeDee, I didn't doubt for one second that you would get back on track. Yay for You! Stay safe to everyone who is in the path of Wilma. God Bless! Jeannie
