On eating that is.For the last week or so everytime I eat I get nauseated and my guts out. Now I don't know if this is do to the Flu I have or if something is wrong with my pouch.I went to my regular PCP and that is how I found out about the Flu and I told her about everything, but she saide nothing. Also because of the getting sick and not being able to keep anything down,as of this morning I have lost 5lbs.I know I am suppose to be resting right now but it is impossible right now cause the Lawn people are here and it is noiser then heck,so no sleep for me.Also I think there is a possibilty that I may be getting dehydrated,my skin is really dry and I can not get no moisture in my mouth no matter how much I drink. So does anyone have any suggestions on any of this. Please I will take all the I can get right now if it will help me to feel better!!! She said nothing???? Sounds like it's time for a new PCP!! Maybe you should call your WL surgeon?? What about ice chips for at least some fluid. I'm not a medical person, but dehydration isn't a good thing. JMHO!! Marian

Try crushed ice or ice chips to keep yourself hydrated. Raven

A few years ago my hubby ,myself and our oldest daughter had the flu we sucked on frozen Pedialite (sp) pops ,or Gatorade the entire time because thats all we could keep down . Hope you get to feeling better soon {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} Kristy

I also have been fighting the flu for the last week and 1/2. My PCP told me to make sure I had some fluid with electrolytes in it. Like "smar****er" or "Propel". Freezing some and sucking on frozen should help. My doctor said "if you don't get your fluids in, it's hospital time".Hope you feel better soon. Sara

When I am sick and throwing up I use ginger. Either via a tea or flat gingerale or a ginger snap cookie. I also at times cut ginger or grate some in a cup and add boiling water and let it steep a few mins. Ginger is good for nausea.. Darlene
