I think they've created all these boards simply because . . . they can. "Should we?" seems to have been left out of the process.

Hey YOU! Nope - had no clue they created another board - hell, I can't keep up with the gazillion and one boards they already have out there. Personal opinion here, but I think it's beginning to reach the point of being ridiculous. Pretty soon we're gonna have as many BOARDS as we have ACTIVE POSTERS. Everyone will have there own lil sand box and NO ONE to play with. Not a lotta fun (or interest) in that. -- Lei (who's missin' the old days) Psssst..... I agree. I think they call it "parallel play"-it's a stage very little kids go through before they develop social skills. Playing side by side, but separate. Hmm-maybe the staff at OH thought we needed to do some growing up. Kind of funny, because last year when I emailed with Eric I mentioned that I thought all of the various interest boards were ridiculous. However, I do love our Grads board. My social schedule--well I have a golf tournament that week-end which I am plenty willing to miss. However--last year I offered to temporarily do some of the co-ordinating for it. Suddenly they have me down as the chairperson. I am working on finding someone else. In other words--I believe Richmond is a go, but I haven't made the reservations yet.

You're the chairperson because you missed the meeting where you were selected. That's why it pays to show up; you fend off attempts to be volunteered. Nowhere Man/PH/Jay

Now that I think of it--maybe that is why they scheduled that meeting for when I couldn't be there. Memo to self--do not miss any more meetings or risk being assigned all the tasks nobody else wants.

other than your link I am not sure how to get there. based on what I saw I don't think I need to find the way back. maybe I am just being a big crabby baby today, but I don't seem to be able to tolerate bull**** from others. usually I am very forgiving and interested in the plight of the poor, the needy and the otherwise not so privelaged (can't seem to spell right either)...but for today I am just not feeling or giving the love.
