Better to post a good old-fashioned rant as being URGENT that to hit click on the garden variety "Why can't my protein shake taste like Ben & Jerry's?" sort of question. As far as the public/private divide goes, I am in agreement wth you. I am old-school as well. As a question, can you imagine the stink if a man ripped into his partner like some of these women do? Yeah, sometimes I'm amazed at how openly people discuss their personal beefs with their significant others (mostly husbands) or family members, friends, even co-workers, on the MB, particularly when they're posting under what appears to be a "real" name, and/or with a MB photo next to their name. I wonder how they can be confident they won't be "busted" for going public with really personal stuff involving others. My favorites are the ones who include in their profiles photos of the offending Neanderthal in question -- dang gurl, why not buy a billboard on the highway and put the sumfa*&*'s photo on *that*, lol? Of course, there's a thread over there right now with a member -- who has a photo right next to her name -- asking how she can gin up a rash in time for a doctor's appointment tomorrow to try to get P.S. insurance approval for a T.T. 'cuz so far, she's had no rashes. *giggle*
