**Thursday Vows**
Hi, I had lap RNY 9/30/03 and am starting to research info on plastic surg. I have appts w/ 2 different docs later this month. I don't think I will qualify for ins. to pay because I don't have "excessive" skin or problems, however, I don't feel comfortable wearing shorts or short sleeves which is a must for living in south Georgia. Have you already been approved? I am also 2 yrs out and have lost approx 110 lbs, but still struggle daily w/ making good choices. As I always say...the surgery fixes your stomach but not your head. Good luck! May God bless you!

My insurance is going to pay for my hernia repair but not my penniculectomy sp?? I have lost about 125 since my surgery date. 170 all together and yes, I too still struggle. Actually I could afford to lose at least 30 more pounds but I am healthy where I am at and my hanging stomach does bother me mentally at least. My wlsurgeon will be performing this surgery also. I have received some posts concerned about that but I am very confident in his abilities. I hope I don't regret it but I just want the bulk of it out of the way. I at this point don't think I care how "pretty" it is. It's never been pretty in my life. Good luck to you too. Will be curious about your journey. I am not officially scheduled yet but I see the doc on Monday and am planning on Nov. 15th. Some day I would like to have my arms done and would probably see a plastic surgeon for that as they are so visible. -- Lucy
Hi Raven!
Thanks for posting this today. For some reason I thought I was to start it tomorrow. Oops!
Yesterday went well for me.
Today I will:
1.Get all my protein in.
2.Get all my water in.
3.Do treadmill for 30mins.
4.Enjoy my granddaughter for the next few days. (shes's 14)
Keep up the good work everyone and make good choices today!
