Trust me...Little Mama ain't so little anymore! I feel (and look) like I've swallowed an ever-expanding beach ball. I'm doing well otherwise; I'm starting to go to my OB/GYN weekly now and I have my c-section scheduled on Alexis' due date (11/11/05)...I need to be at the hospital at 6:00 AM for 8:00 AM surgery...an early morning it will be. How are YOU doing, Sweetheart?

Oh BS! I know that you're the most beautiful Little Mama that I know of right now. Gosh---Alexis is gonna be snuggling you in just a few weeks. The thought makes me smile. I'm doing Ok most of the time. I've just been really tired lately. All I want to do is sleep and then sleep some more. I have to go for my 6 month blood work in a couple of weeks. I was telling Tootsie that I think my Iron level is going to be low. Well, at least that's what I'm hoping.

Anbody respond to the McDonald's Breakfast Burrito post on the main board? 3 week post op wondering if these are a good choice. I responded. Virtual smack upside the head. Feeling better today...realizing main board is a good place to release stress while sitting at computer. May we all be smug and successful together. (I resist the use of blinking emoticons and have no idea what the hell a restaraunt card is). Karen

Clearly Karen you must be a relative newbie to the message boards it you are unaware of restaraunt cards. They probably stir up as much passion as anything on the main mb.

Here's the deal...I am 5 yrs. post op but had no idea that the OH website was in existence until sometime this past summer! I had been pretty much talking to myself until I came across this supportive, fascinating, dumbfounding, exasperating, wonderful community!!! I did read about restaraunt cards, but could not see the point or really grasp the idea (I may be the ED of a non profit, but I do sometimes have **** for brains) and figured that nobody could use these things or no business would accept them. I admit that I read the main MB often, and hold back on my responses as often as possible because I figure it's best to let these things play out and only if I really want to throw my hat in the ring do I respond. Mostly I just remind myself "there by the grace of god go I..." That's my story and I'm sticking to it (just like sausage biscuits might stick to the ribs 2.5 weeks post op). Karen
